Doesn't it feel like Christmas was a few weeks ago?  I'm not sure why this felt like such a long week, but it certainly did.

This weekend's theme was snow.  The photos above were taken during our snow storm on Thursday.  We welcomed another few inches of snow on Saturday.  Jay's used the snow blower more this week then I think he did all year last year!

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve.  Although I'm working during the day, we're going to spend the evening having dinner with my mom at her house.  I have no plans of staying up until midnight......I'd rather have my sleep.  Such a party pooper!

I'm excited about 2013.  I feel like we're finally settling into the type of lifestyle we'd wanted, although had never really defined.  I've got new things to try on my list of goals for the year and will share them {and lessons learned} with you.

Thank you to all of you who stop by and visit.  We really do appreciate it.  Last year at this time we had an average of 200 people a day come by to read about what we're up to.  This year, we're up to a daily total of between 900 and 1,000.  Amazing!

Thank you for your kind comments and questions as well as your ongoing support.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - I've met so many truly wonderful people through this little blog and I'm so grateful.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you have a healthy, happy and safe 2013!

For instance, carrots are a pretty inexpensive...

$100.00/Week Real Food Meal Plan - Week 7

February 11, 2018

If you’re just tuning in, this is an ongoing series in which I share our weekly meal plan as I (attempt) to convert us to a Whole/Real Food lifestyle.  Our grocery budget is $100.00/week for 2 adults.  Often I make 2 different meals because I am primarily plant-based and my husband is not.  Most of what we eat is made from scratch and any boxed, canned and/or frozen products follow the Real Food...
